Christ Cathedral Church
Christ Cathedral is a part of GBI (Gereja Bethel Indonesia), one of the largest Christian/Pentecostal denominations in Indonesia. Christ Cathedral was established in 2009 and is well known for its landmark building – a very large, modern, and futuristic Church structure with a capacity for over 12,000 people. Uniquely located by the Lake and Bukit Raya Golf Course, it is regarded as one of the largest and most beautiful church buildings in Indonesia. The Church is located in Gading Serpong, a significant part of and the fastest growing suburb in Greater Jakarta, a metropolitan and bustling megacity with a population of more 15 million people. Christ Cathedral is widely known in the community for its Community Services Ministry, through which the congregation is very active in social welfare programs and community development projects, including those for improving the education of the disadvantages, and relieving illness and poverty.
